Week 3: Mosley vs 3rd and Long

Matt Mosley got the best of me again last week, but I feel good about this week. Mosley’s year to date record is 4-1-1 while mine is an ugly 2-3-1. Now, on to this week’s picks…

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Philadelphia Eagles (-3)

Mosley: I like the Eagles at the Linc. Donovan McNabb has been sharp, and I don't think the Steelers have been tested yet. Good team, but not as good as we think.

3rd and Long: I know McNabb looked great last Monday, but I think the Steelers’ defense is better than Dallas’. Willie Parker will be the star of this game. Pittsburgh wins in a close one.

Mosley: Eagles -3
3rd and Long: Steelers +3

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Indianapolis Colts (-5)

Mosley: Colts survived last week. On Sunday, they'll get things back on track with a huge division win. I told a few folks to keep an eye on the Jags for a possible Super Bowl run. My bad!

3rd and Long: The Colts still have a lot of injuries and losing Bob Sanders is really going to hurt the run defense. But I still think Peyton can win a game by himself. Also, the Jags have a lot to prove.

Mosley: Colts -5
3rd and Long: Colts -5

Dallas Cowboys (-3) @ Green Bay Packers

Mosley: Aaron Rodgers vs. Tony Romo? C'mon, is that really a contest? If this thing turns into a shootout, I like the Cowboys' chances.

3rd and Long: Until a defense proves that the Cowboys can be stopped, I’m going to pick them. I think the Cowboys’ defense will play better and Rodgers will struggle. ‘Boys roll.

Mosley: Cowboys -3
3rd and Long: Cowboys -3

Enjoy the games everyone.

Peace.
